Well, what do you know, I went to Bon Odori again with EMiNA Melaka again this year. I thought last year was my last with them, haha. Oh well, wasn’t really looking forward to Bon Odori, but I was rather looking forward to the trip before Bon Odori. Surprisingly, this year EMiNA decided to go to a different place, called The Curve. I’ve never been there, so I guess its worth a shot going with EMiNA.

Oh, before I forgot, things that I shouldn’t have brought :

- extra clothes
- My discman
- My digital Camera

Note that NONE of these pictures posted are mine. They belong to Aizat, ALL of them. That’s why I listed things that I shouldn’t have brought was my digi cam. ^^;; Enough chatter, on to Bon Odori !

Well, Games Anime Comic Circle returns once again, and the timing couldn’t have been better. I was just traumatized by the recent accident that happened to me, so I need something to get my mind off it. Imagine, every moment I keep remembering it. Yeah, maybe I’m overreacting and dramatic, heh. :p I’m glad that it turned out so well, in fact better than last year, though there were some areas which could be improved. The sad thing about this year GACC is that I just sat at the same place the whole day for the first day, and some ass ruined my mood on the second day, and it was during the cosplay competition finals. It ruined my mood till the end of the show, and made me ‘emo’, like how Adib put it. Another thing that was sad for me was the fact I wasn’t there from the beginning to join them like last year. I was more of helper than a committee, for I would love to be involved in GACC. It was something that I helped create along with my friends, so it sadden me when all I could do is help them during this time, but not during the beginning phase. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself during GACC’07.

Anyway, enough of babbling, let me take you to GACC’07 !

Since we had a blast gathering last year, I decided to organize the Merdeka Gathering Celebration around MMU area. Oh no, this is no club related, just among us. I posted in the EMiNA forums, and at the beginning a lot of people show interest in joining, but in the end, 7 people including myself went for the gathering. Still, it was fun and enjoyable like last year, tho I wish those people who say they would come did show up…

Anyway, around 11.15pm, I pushed off from my house to MMU. While I was on my way, it was raining. Oh crap…this might prevent people from coming to the gathering. I hope I was wrong. The plan was gather at EP then move to the hanging out location ( most probally Cahaya Dinar / MITC ). When I arrived, only Navin was there…Great. So, I waited till 11.45pm with Navin. Yuhi came along after that. When the clock strike 12pm, it was already Merdeka day, but there were only 3 people so far. Fearing that people might not come, I decided to try and call Edo. As expected, he refuses to come because there were no girls. -.- Then I tried to invite Hsia-Liang, but again I was dissapointed as he was at Ujong Pasir that time…T_T

Last Saturday, I went to EMiNA Melaka BBQ Gathering. Yea, it might be my last EMiNA event, because I won’t be going to anymore events after this, since that was the deal that I promised with my family. Anyway, before going to the trip, on Friday I helped some of the working coms like Julian, Navin and Arvin to help and gather wood for the BBQ on Saturday. The best part of cutting the wood is that we cut a whole damn tree. Yes, this time we had 5 logs with us. Well, actually we didn’t cut a tree, but half of a dead tree we found around the area. Was fun hanging out with them. Oh, Wilson and Adib came to help out along the way. Thanks guys. The process took us from 3 to 7pm. Yup, tiring indeed. Still, what was shocking to me was the absences of the event director. I saw him after that, but he and his assistant gave an excuse they were going to Stygix and promise to return to help out after they are done. Right…

This will be my last Bon Odori going with EMiNA Melaka, so I do hope I make some wonderful memories as well as enjoy my time. Well…I would say I did enjoyed myself, tho without problems and conflict. This year I would rate my enjoyment as so-so. My best year for Bon Odori was 2005 without a doubt. My enjoyment this year was meeting with my EMiNA Cyber friends, meeting with Xanseviera, buying the food there ( spent all my RM 100 on the food :p.. ) and joining the dance. ^^ The bad part ? Problems with the bus, and being alone for most of the time.

So, what happend on my birthday ? In the morning, I just sleep. :p But before I went to sleep, I got a phone call from Lynn, wishing me happy birthday. I was so shocked and happy to hear her voice that I almost shouted in excitement. XD Really miss her. Later, Datin YM wishing me Happy birthday, then along came Li Sa’s and Fiona’s SMS with a happy birthday wish . Shin Dee called later, but I didn’t recognize her number and her voice. I forgot that she got 2 hp no, thats why I didn’t know who was on the line. XD Edo wished me earlier, but Lynn was the earliest. Then, got a SMS wish from Abe while I was on my way to Windmill with my brother, only to find out that windmill was closed. Couldn’t stay awake that long, so slept after that. In the morning, my whole family wished me, but they gave me their presents later in the evening, since I was sleeping in the morning till noon, and due to the fact that some of went to class and school.

Also in the evening, Kristine, QJ, Aizat1900, Shafik, Ann Nabila, Nain and Nikki wished me.

Last Saturday was MMU awards 06, an event were they give sorta give an appreciation to all the clubs/soceities in MMU. This year, they’ve decided to combine both Campuses, Cyberjaya and Melaka. I wasn’t really looking forward to the event and originally I decided not to go, because I still got a load of work to finish. Somehow, I was forced to go still went to the event, because my friends say they’ve nominate me, and it wouldn’t be nice if I wasn’t there. But I still got stuffs to finish…

Even though it plainly sucked, but I’m quite cool with it since I did had quite a great time there. Err, not at the awards I mean.

I woke up around 6.00am, but decided to continue my sleep a bit, since I practice like hell a few hours ago. Thank God Nazrin called me around 7am, if not I don’t think I will be waking up. ^^;;; In a few hours left, Games Anime Comic Circle will begin, EMiNA first national event ever since the club has been established.

Will the event rock ? Will it be a success ? Some people doubt that whoever proposed the idea should be shot to dead. Some say we won’t pull it off. Are they going to be right, or are we going to prove them wrong ? I went inside the car, and drove to MMU, with full anticipation, excitement, and also worried.

All I can tell you, the road to GACC wasn’t an easy road. It was filled with bumps, problems, hardship, drama and conflict.*

The month February has been a hell of a month for me, and I believe some of my friends. For Nazrin, he got his wallet, laptop ( 3 years of hard work of collecting MP3’s ) and handphone stolen, and Edo, with his personal big problem. Me ? I have my problems of my own. CADP club, like I said before, seems like dying. The event is not moving, and my committees are not committed enough. What do they do ? They give me work to do, whereas it’s not my event. Some of my friends became my enemies just because of stupid reasons. Backstabbers, front stabbers, I met all of them, in the month of February. My Final Year Project was one hell of a presentation. A lot of things went wrong. I had an argument with my mum as well. EMiNA are also having problems within. February has been nothing but pain and sorrow for month.

However, I’m glad on Saturday, there was at least on memorable event.
