Of course, as usual, there will be spoilers in my review, so beware.

Okay, after the disappointing Spidey 3, this was what I need. The movie is kicks off right after the second ended, where the crew needs to find Jack Sparrow…Oppps, I mean, Captain Jack Sparrow at World’s End. In order to that they need a map they have to obtain at Singapore from Shou Feng, one of the 9 Pirate Lords. Lead by Captain Barbossa, they went to Singapore, got the map, and proceed to find Jack at Worlds End. They need to find Sparrow because he is also 1 of the 9 Pirate lords, and the Pirate lords need to gather to discuss about their next move to fight Davy Jones, who is being controlled by the East Trade company.

Now, if your familiar with the Pirates formula, please be ready with countless of betrayal and short lived alliance. This film is full of it, but I’m amazed that they manage to keep it interesting and understandable, altho sometimes I was lost at certain points. Storyline twist, one of the shockers of the movie was seeing Will Turner die ( 0_o ). Yeah, I’m not a fan of his character, but really shocking. I was like “Huh !”. Kinda sad too see him die, but I raise my eye brow when I saw him came back as the new Dutch captain. -__- Ceh…but if there is a sequel, he might not be coming back I think, because he now can only go to land every 10 years. I don’t know what happens to Elizabeth tho. It was sad to see their love end like that, altho I’m not a fan of their character.

A balance between action and humor make this truly entertaining. In my opinion, the second one was way too serious that the 1st, so I didn’t really like it. However, the third one was just right. There were a lot of humor coming from Jack mainly, as usual, so don’t worry about it. Action scene was amazing, especially the last battle. Never knew Jack was such a swordsman. *laughs*

The acting; top class. Johnny Depp delivers as usual. Barbossa was great no doubt, and damn it was fun to have him back. He arguing with Jack over the ship was great. Chow Yun Fat acting too was good, but I feel his role could have been expanded more. ( He died to EARLY ) Orlando Bloom…errr…no a fan of him, so no commentto. Knightly, ugghhhh…I didn’t like Elizabeth getting to much screen time and storyline plot in the movie. She became one of the Pirate lords for god sake ! Great. However, it is unclear what becomes of her in the end.

The music was great, thanks to Hans Zimmer. I’m listening to the soundtrack now. My only complain that the storyline is sometimes too hard to follow, and damn the cinema sucks big time…=____=;

Overall this film is one of the best films of the year, and I’m giving it a 9 / 10
