Since we had a blast gathering last year, I decided to organize the Merdeka Gathering Celebration around MMU area. Oh no, this is no club related, just among us. I posted in the EMiNA forums, and at the beginning a lot of people show interest in joining, but in the end, 7 people including myself went for the gathering. Still, it was fun and enjoyable like last year, tho I wish those people who say they would come did show up…

Anyway, around 11.15pm, I pushed off from my house to MMU. While I was on my way, it was raining. Oh crap…this might prevent people from coming to the gathering. I hope I was wrong. The plan was gather at EP then move to the hanging out location ( most probally Cahaya Dinar / MITC ). When I arrived, only Navin was there…Great. So, I waited till 11.45pm with Navin. Yuhi came along after that. When the clock strike 12pm, it was already Merdeka day, but there were only 3 people so far. Fearing that people might not come, I decided to try and call Edo. As expected, he refuses to come because there were no girls. -.- Then I tried to invite Hsia-Liang, but again I was dissapointed as he was at Ujong Pasir that time…T_T

Suddenly, my phone rang, and it was Adib. However, the transmission was so bad, that I can’t hear him at all. It happened a few times, but I still can’t get him. So, when he called again, I just told him to come at EP, even tho I can’t hear him. I even sent a SMS to him. I just hope he gets it. Then, a new challenger appeared, Yeow, a new EMiNA member came and join us. Yay, that makes it 5 so far. Adib came shortly after Yeow arrived. I called Kristine to join along, but she was at MITC at that moment. She said to call her when we decide where to gather. Yup, we didn’t decide where to gather yet. Originally we wanted to go either MITC or Cahaya Dinar, but it was still raining that time ( tho not heavy ). MITC was pack jammed according to Kristine and Adib. Naz gave a suggestion eating at McD, because he wanted to try a certain dish. XD While we were discussing, Wilson came to join us for the gathering.

In the end, we decided to eat at Winari ( I hope I got that right XD ), a shop beside the Witchery shop at Ixora. I didn’t really mind, since I just want to hang out with them. So, we went there. Lucky it wasn’t full, so we had places to sit. Turns out to be that this new food shop was the food shop that I used to eat at PBBU. So, for now, with 6 people, we started out Merdeka gathering celebration. Oh, while we were ordering food, a bunch of rufians / kids were cycling there bicycle and shouting “Merdeka!”. Yeah, I took some videos of the foolish acts. Since I already eat, I just decided to drink : One Kiwi Blended Juice onegai ! No, the other one is Adib’s drink, not mine.

So, we chatted about randoms stuffs, like anime, GACC, cosplay, movies, Ixora Internet connection, and stuffs. Then, along the way, Kristine finally arrived from MITC and joined us. ^___^ Yeah, our gathering lacks a female touch XD, so I was glad that she came. *huggies* She told about how wonderful the fireworks there, and how terrible was the traffic at MITC. Feuh, lucky we didn’t go there. So, we continue chatting until it was 2.45am, and we decided to leave since the shop was closing. Yeah, the unnoffical chased us out. XD.

After that, we shifted out venue to Ixora food court, which was near by. As time flies by, it was already 3.15am, and suddenly I got a SMS from my bro, telling me to come back ASAP. I decided to go home around 3.30am, after sending Kristine back to her house. Hmm, come to think of it, this is the first time she seen me drive. XD Well, I decided not to give her a heart attack by driving as slow and carefull as possible. After that, went back to my house. When I got back, it was around 3.45am. Wow, a bit late then last year. Before I went to bed, I checked some stuffs on the internet.

Overall, I think this gathering was great like last year. A mix of old and new people. ^^ The only thing missing was most of the old people and me not being “horny”. XD *Sigh* I’m really going to miss these guys. Thanks for coming guys.

P/S: Last year gathering was consits of 7 people. This year also consits of 7 people. Only 3 people from last year were in this years gathering : Nazrin, Kristine and I. The rest are all new people. ^^
