Last Saturday was MMU awards 06, an event were they give sorta give an appreciation to all the clubs/soceities in MMU. This year, they’ve decided to combine both Campuses, Cyberjaya and Melaka. I wasn’t really looking forward to the event and originally I decided not to go, because I still got a load of work to finish. Somehow, I was forced to go still went to the event, because my friends say they’ve nominate me, and it wouldn’t be nice if I wasn’t there. But I still got stuffs to finish…

Even though it plainly sucked, but I’m quite cool with it since I did had quite a great time there. Err, not at the awards I mean.

Anyway, I rushed from my home to campus because I was told that the bus will be leaving at 4pm. In the end, we end up pushing off from campus late…=___= Shesssh, these people I tell you. I meet with the EMiNA geng there. I wanted to kacau Datin, but she wasn’t there. I knew later that she was already in Putrajaya. Damn…Oh well, after waiting for like an hour in the hot blazing sun, we pushed off from MMU to De’Seri Endon Hall at Puspanitapuri at 5pm. Yeah, weird name, I know.

On the way going there, we got stuck around Seremban area. This was quite bad actually, because suddenly, nature calls for me…>___< ;; I had to hold on until we got at there. We arrived at venue around 7.15pm. When we got off, I quickly went to find the toilet, which at first I went to the male changing room. xDD Luckly I didn't went into the female changing room. :P The event began around 8pm, so I went for my prayers. After that, while waiting, took some photos with everyone.

After that, we all procced to our table. I was seperated from the geng, because I sat with my CADP geng. Yeah, I was bored I admit, since I don’t really know the people there well. Most of the people are strangers to me, except for Dinesh. Around 8.45pm, the VVIP came, and thus began our boring opening ceremony.

After the lame opening ceremony, we had our first award, which was the best website and EMCEE award, which I knew I wasn’t going to win. I however was very suprise that my name was nominated. O.o I felt very honored for the nomination. There was a small ray of hope for me to win the award, but I gave up when I saw the name Ahmad Azizi. Somehow, I knew he was going to win. It was quite funny when they annouced the winner, because my name and Azizi starts with Ahmad, so when I hear the name Ahmad, I was shocked. But then, I knew again that Azizi’s name begins with Ahmad, so I calmed down back. Congrats to Azizi for the win. After that, we were treated with some performance, but then I left the hall along with Nikki, Shin Dee, Dexter, Benny Tan, Adib and Hsia-Liang, because we were bored. Took a walk around the area and snap many photos of ourselves and the scenery.

Well, after our walking around and all, we went back out to see either our event would win the best non-sport event. The good thing we were nominated, but too bad CLS took the win. Oh well, I guess they deserve it, so congrats to them. After that award, I just waited outside of the hall till the whole damn thing was over, with no desire to enter back. Aizat and Qj joined me later after that. Around 11.30pm, the whole event was over. Our bus will only push off from around 12.20am, so we had like 45 minutes to kill. Dammit….Oh well, that means photo taking session time !! xDDD

On our way back, everything was cool, until my the orange juice effect in my body started to take over. Shin Dee offered anyone to sit beside Datin, and I took it. xDD It was really funny how it happened, just can’t explain here. Nah, I wasn’t horny, just playing around with datin. xDD After that, I just went to stand by mode, and around 2.30pm, we arrived back at campus. Everyone was too tired to go eat ( besides, all the shops are already closed. ), so we all went back to our houses and apartments. Overall, it was quite a memorable event for me. Not the awards, but the fact spending time with my friends and taking photos with them.
