Well, here we are, a few hours later the clock will strike to 12am, and that will mark the end of 2005. Throughout the year 2005, I’m pretty sure you guys experience many things throughout this whole year, either is good or bad, memorable or painful, sad or happy, forgettable or unforgettable moments. I would like to take this opportunity to look back at certain memorable events that happen in my life. I present to you the summary of my life in 2005 !

Edo’s Surprise birthday
Date: 3 February 2005
This event was quiet memorable for me, because this is the first time I was organizing a surprise party. I really tired my best to make this birthday party a surprise party for Edo, too bad he found out because of some simple mistakes. However, I’m really glad he enjoyed it. It took quiet an effort for me to do it, like I had to find out what cake he likes, try to make sure he doesn’t come back before his birthday, and call people to come along. Furthermore, his birthday was on the same day of our Program Design mid-term. XP. It was really nice that it turns out to be a nice party, and it was really a memorable day for me. ^_^

EMiNA’s 3rd birthday
Date: 22-24 February 2005
My first event as the Program Director. Though I didn’t handle the event well, I’m still glad that the event went kinda well, despite some flaw here and there. Before the event, I still remembered that some of us had to stay overnight to complete the stage. Oh man, it was really memorable, though tiring. Yeah, highlight of that event would be getting my head busted wide open by the edge of the partition board. >_< ; Thank God it wasn't really serious. Had problems during the second day, but the third day was the best. I thank all those who helped to make this event a success.

EMiNa’s 3rd birthday Appreciation dinner
Date: 20 March 2005
We decided to give an appreciation dinner to our committee and ourselves for our hard work. The dinner was at US pizza. The memorable thing about this event wasn’t the food, but rather the chattings with the whole committee. It was great.

Anime Week 2005 ( EMiNA Cyberjaya )
Date: 26 March 2005
I wished that I never went to this event in the first place. I was looking forward to this event very much, as I heard so many hypes regarding this event. Too bad a turn out to be a pile of trash, boring and uninspiring. The fever I got during the trip also didn’t help that much. However, I would have to applaud EMiNA cyber for their effort. After the event, we went to Alamanda, but too bad Alamanda was empty also. Maybe because I was sick that time. Wasn’t a good memory for me.

Epo’s Departure from MMU
Date: 24 June 2005
Our housemate, Epo left MMU, because he wanted to pursue the course that he really wanted, that is film making. He will begin studying again next year. I really didn’t want him to go, but people come and people go. That’s how life is. I will never forget him, as he was my best friend.

EMiNA’s AGM 2005
Date: 7 July 2005
This was really memorable for me. Why ? The AGM was done on my birthday, and I never expected that EMiNA would throw out a surprise party, during the AGM itself ! Oh, I really felt like crying during that time. I was touched, and would never ever forget that day. I even have the slides presentation that they use during the AGM. It was really great, and man I love it so much. The AGM was overall great, just that the game sucks. >_< ; I was the one who handle the games part, so I feel a bit disappointed. The AGM was a blast, not too mention my surprise birthday party was too. ^_^

The birth of AKM ~ Anti Kon Movement and the KON wars

I never saw this coming. Right after I got back from the EMiNA AGM, I suddenly saw the in the EMiNA hidden thread at neXt-boards there was a KFC thread ! I was shocked to see it ! >_< ; So, me and Edo decided to form AKM. Yeah, while they were just merely playing around, me and Edo was serious, and thus from there, the KON wars was born. XP

Bon Odori 2005
Date: 16 July 2005
I didn’t enjoy last years Bon Odori than this year. I had quiet a tough time to go to Bon Odori, but thank God I managed too. What’s the tough thing about ? Bon Odori was done at the same date of my CADP ice-breaking, so I had to actually go to my CADP Ice-breaking. I really wanted to go to Bon Odori. However, thank God because some turn of events, I manage to go Bon Odori. That was the last time I went to Bon Odori with Shafik. Last year, I was in the same bus with him, and this year I was also in the same bus with him. Meet some old people at there, like Aizat. Bon Odori this year was wonderful.

MMusic - Cries for Independence a.k.a Cries of Embarrassment

This event was the worse event in my year 2005, and also in all my life becoming a Master of Ceremony ( EMCEE ) for an event, this was one of my worse ever. I was involved with the event last minute, and I only had 1 day to prepare for the event. During the event there were a lot of crap things that happened. The VVIP was late, my overall speech sucked to the max, I made a big fool out of myself. Oh, I don’t want to even hear about this crap…

Merdeka Celebration
Date: 31 August 2005
Had my first ever Merdeka Celebration in…19 years ? XD Went out to eat at Cahaya Dinar with Shafik, Nazrin, Nikki, Kristine, Hsia-Liang, and Shin Dee. Really had a great time, and it was just thing I need to clear my mind after the disastrous event earlier. This is the day where I will be label as ‘horny’, if I drink any Orange Juice from Cahaya Dinar. We chatted from 12.30am to 3.30am. It was a long random chat, and man it was great. ^__^

Shafik’s Departure from MMU
Date: 14 November 2005
The third person to leave the MMU and our unit, Shafik. I expected this to happen, but still can’t believe the he actually left. I was praying that somehow, someway he would have to further his studies here in Melaka. Too bad that it didn’t came true. I’m really going to miss him.

CADP Sport Carnival
Date: 19 November 2005
This event was original plan to be conducted on the 3rd trimester, but due some turn of event, the event was pushed to 19 November. This event had some much potential, but later all those potential just die off. From a two day event, we had to narrow it down to a one day event. Overall ? This event wasn’t a success because of various matters. Wasn’t really a good day for me, as I didn’t sleep for almost half of the day, and the fact that I had to run here and there.

Comic Fiesta Trip
Date: 17 December 2005
Went to CF for the first time, and to tell you the truth, I wasn’t looking forward to this. However, turnout the event was a great one. I really enjoyed it, and the best of this trip was the trip to Sunway. Went for Ice-Skating for the first time. Really had fun, though I fell 3 times. XP

All of these are great events that happened to me during my 2005 life, and when I looked back at them, I will remember them with a smile on my face. There are other many memorable things, but too me, these are the things which are really memorable to me.

Thank you so much 2005 for all the memories you have given me. It was a pleasure and one heck of a ride. Good bye 2005, and welcome 2006 ! I hope 2006 will give me great memories, just like 2005, or even better !
