This post is dedicated to my 3 ex-housemates, which they are currently furthering their studies in Cyber. Err…correction, 2 of them are furthering studies in Cyber, and one more quitted MMU and now is taking a different course. :p

When I first came to University Apartment, I didn’t know what to expect. This is indeed the first time that I ever been sort of separated from my family, and from this point, I will be meeting and staying with different types of people with different types of personality. So, I hoped that God puts me into a place where all of the people are wonderful and great people. Praise to Him, I indeed met with wonderful and great people. These people were my housemates.

Are they so special ? Well, if they weren’t special to me, would you think that I would be writing a post about them ?

So, let’s start on how did I met with them. First, is Edo. I believe that I don’t need to explain much about Edo, as you all know that he is my classmate since Secondary school during form 4 and 5, and he is also my coursemate. Of course, not too forget that he is my best friend. Long before we both entered MMU, we both decided that we wanted to stay at the same place, as he suggested to me that it’s better to stay with someone that you know. So, I decided to follow his lead.

Anyway, coming back to my housemates, the next person who I meet when I first entered UA was Shafik. Yup, good old black-hole. Errr, I mean Shafik, or which I call him Shaf. My first impression ? He looks like a good and innocent kid. Then, I met with Erfan, a.k.a the infamous Epo, who was Shaf’s roommate. My first impression ? He looked like a guy who has been in a lot of fights…XD And finally, Faisal, also known as the famous Acai. Yeah, he was the last one to enter our unit, B1-1-10. My first impression ? Err…he looked like one of those bad people. XP

So that’s basically how I met with all of them, and boy I have to tell you, there are a lot of sweet and great memories that I had with all of them, especially with Epo and Shaf. I was really heartbroken and sad when one by one of them left the apartment, continuing with their life’s, but that is how life is. People come and people go. That is just how life works.

Now, I will explain one by one of these great individuals.

Acai

Surprisingly, he was the last to come in our apartment, but the first one to leave. Acai’s really name is Ahmad Faisal b. Ahmad Hafifi, from KL, and took Alpha Business. Nikki knew him. ^__^ At first glance, you would think Acai is a guy who fights a lot and only gives a damn about himself, but I dare to say this that you are dead wrong. Acai that I knew is not like that. Sure, I didn’t get to know him that much, since he moved out during last years second trimester, but the short amount of time that I spent with him proves that he is a friend that you can count on. He has proven this countless of times, and despite his rough looks, he’s really a nice guy. Always there to help us when we need him. A lot of people know him, because he’s really a friendly person.

One thing I can say about this guy that he loved to punk you. Yeah, countless of times, me and my housemates fell into his jokes. XD Card games, mind tricks, you name it, he knows almost about everything. He’s a daredevil. He even teaches us on how to know if person lies or not. Though he doesn’t seem like it, but Acai is a pure hardcore gamer, and I must admit he’s a good one, not too mention a fast learner. It’s not easy to beat Acai in games, like Tekken 4, Soul Calibur 2 and CS. He told us that during Form 4-5, he used to skip class to go to Cybercafés and play games. :p

I had quiet a few memories with Acai, but there is one that I remembered most. There was one time I had to go back to my house to pick up some stuffs, and it was kinda urgent. So, I asked Acai to help me out. Acai gladly accepted, but with one condition, I have to accompany him eat. Lolz, what a simple condition ! But the problem is, I have eaten already…>___< Oh well, why not ? So, after we pick up some stuff at my house, we went to Windmill. Yum yum...surprisingly, during our meal, he talked a lot about himself, about his past, though I believe not all. :p Maybe because he just wanted to start a conversation, that’s why he told me about himself, but too me it doesn't matter, because the thought of helping me and talking about himself was memorable. :)

Yes, I was sad when I heard the news that he wanted to move out. I couldn’t believe it at first, but later when I heard from Epo, then I knew that it was true. The reason why he wanted to move out ? Well, because he wants to stay with his course mate’s house. I can’t blame him, he’s the only business Management student in our house, and surely he needs a friend during study times and all eh ? Though I wasn’t really that close with him, but I consider him as part of B1-1-10 family, no matter what. Now, from what I heard from my friends, he’s now in MMU Cyber, furthering his studies. I’m happy for him, but at the same time sad that I can’t see him anymore.

Acai, if you are reading this, I wish you the best in your life and your career. Take care man, and my God bless you, and I love you man.

Trivia : Did you know that Acai and Epo was the founder of nX a.k.a. Nachax ? He was also the leader of the group.

Epo

I believe many of you guys have heard about the legendary Epo, whose real name is Mohamad Erfan bin Zainialdin, from KL. He was the second person to leave, and I was even saddened by his departure. Why ? Because he was my best friend, and was like a brother too me. The first time I meet him, I had the same impression like I met with Acai, and I thought he was a bad person..XD But of course, when I got to know him better, I knew I was dead wrong as usual. A great individual, and also a great joker. There are so many pranks and jokes that he did to me and my other housemates. He really looks like a person who likes to joke and play around. Sometimes his jokes are a bit…how to say…offensive, and hurts ( T__T ), but yeah, he only meant it as a joke. Sometimes I do get angry when he jokes over the board, but later I got used to it, so don’t worry man.

However, don’t let his appearances fool you. In reality, he’s a person with lots of knowledge and experience. Yeah, like Acai too, he’s a great gamer, and a fast learner I must add. I really had fun playing games with him, and he beats me the hell out of me in CS and Dota. XD

As a person, I can say he’s a great guy. He can get along with almost everyone. Every time I walk with him, left right, front back people will say ‘hi’ to him. When I walk with him, I admit, I feel like I’m walking with a superstar. XD Oh, he just simply loves his ShadowFax a.k.a Pajero. He calls it ShadowFax because he’s an addict fan of Lord of the Rings. With his Shadowfax, we all went to many places, Pantai Kundur, Ayer Keroh, so many places, with so many memories.

What’s the one thing that I remember most about him ? There are a lot of things ! But, the one thing I remember about him is that almost every night, he will go to my room, and have a talk with me. He will talk about games, girls, problems, and sometimes offer me advices when I tell him a problem. Before he left MMU, he gave me his dog tag, written “APO”, pronounce as EPO. When I wear it, I will remember my best friend, who thought me so many things in life, Epo. Currently he is working, but next year he will continue his studies back in Akademi. He was the heart and soul of our house. So, when he left, our house was never the same without him. I really miss this guy, even until now.

Epo, wherever you are, I hope you will achieve your dreams and goals. I wish nothing else, but the best for you. Take care brother, and God bless you. I love you man.

Trivia : Did you know that the first person that Epo met was Shafik ? Shafik and Epo also ended up as roommates.

Shafik

Hmm…Where have we seen this person before ? Seems familiar ? Bet he does. Yeah, he is Shafik a.k.a Shaf / Blackhole. His full name is Ahmad Shafik Ahmad Zamari, from Shah Alam. Shaf was the youngest in our family, yeah, he is only 18 years old. Despite his innocent look, he isn’t really. :p You’ll know what I mean if you spent and lived with him. Shaf, and Epo had a really great time together, as friends. Remember I said that the first person that Epo met was Shafik ? Yeah, it’s really true, and here’s how. When he first came to MMU, he set right next to Epo. According to Epo, he told that Shafik was disorganized when he first met him, looking for his I.D and all. While looking for his I.D, he said to himself “Where’s my I.D ?”, and then of all the sudden looked to Epo and asked, “Hey, have you seen my I.D?” XD Of course Epo hasn’t seen the I.D ! :p Then, they both temporary went through separated ways. On the way to BBU, Epo and Shafik took the van, and again both of them sat side by side. Epo and Shafik both were shocked, and both of them said, “Hey, it’s you again!”XD

After that, they both arrived at BBU. When you get there, you’re supposed to register and take your key for your room. Then, during the time when they both need to register, again, they both were registering, side by side ! Again, both of them said “Hey, it’s you again !!” XD XD After that, they went to their rooms, and again, both of them meet at our apartment’s door !! XD Yeah, again both of them said “Hey, it’s you again !!” XD XD XD Finally, when both of them entered, they both proceed to their room…only to find out that they are both in the same room !! XD XD XD XD Yeah, meaning, both of them are roommates !! XD After a final “HEY, ITS YOU AGAIN !”, they both laugh, and then introduce themselves. If that’s not fate/destiny, then I don’t know what it is. Whatever it is, it’s really a sweet memory for both of them.

Anyway, back to the question, why do I call Shafik blackhole ? Well, actually that name was given by Edo, and my God that name isn’t given without a reason !! This person, can almost sallow, eat and consume anything that is considered food to him. Yeah, so what ? Well, if his size was like Epo I would understand, but he’s not fat at all !! He just keeps on eating, eating, eating. XP Well…his not skinny like I and Edo, but still, with that size, I can’t understand how he can just keep on eating and eating. XD Yeah, most of the food in the house was consumed by him rather than us. His favorite line “Khurshid /Edo /Epo /Acai, let me finish this okay ?” XD

What do I remember about Shafik ? A lot really ! But the thing I remember most about this guy, is that during the last few weeks that he was here, he just loves to go out with me, wondering around the Bukit Beruang area. During that time, we talk a lot of things, and during that time, as an older brother, I offer my advice to him, about things that I know. XP Not to say that I’m a saint, but it’s natural for me to offer some of my advice to him. When he left Malacca to further his studies in Cyberjaya, I was really sad, as I couldn’t see him before he leaves. Shafik, if you are reading this, I hope that you will achieve whatever you dream and aim. Don’t worry man, you can do it anything, and you already proven it, as you are the only Alpha Engin that I know and in our house who managed to further your studies to degree level. Its tough, but you can do it, I know that. God Bless you always, and I love ya kid.

Trivia : Do you know that Shafik loves RTS type of games ?

So yeah, the original residents of B1-1-10 that is left is only Edo and I. Though most of them are no longer with us, but there are many parts of this house, when we look at it, we will remember our friends…no, our brothers.
